Join the LRCA Superior Stewards team of volunteers and contribute to the health of our watershed! Superior Stewards are involved in a variety of different projects and activities, from valuable wildlife habitat restoration projects, to environmental education events, and fundraisers. Floodway Planting Day
From 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, we'll be planting native perennials along the Neebing-McIntyre Floodway at 1071 Fort William Road. The site is across from the CLE and Thunder Centre, where the lower Neebing River sheds into the Floodway. Turn off of Fort William Road into the site and park in the gravel field. We'll be transplanting perennials grown from locally-collected seed. RSVP to stewardship@lakeheadca.com for more details.
