The Living Classroom Fund
The Living Classroom Fund provides supporters with the opportunity to help fund the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority's (LRCA) Living Classrooms and Environmental Education Program. Our eight Conservation Areas are the perfect Living Classrooms: students and the public are surrounded and immersed by the many learning and recreational opportunities offered by the natural world.
The Fund is designed to help support not only the LRCA's environmental education programming initiatives and stewardship projects, but also to ensure that the Areas are maintained and kept safe and clean for all users. Be sure to visit all eight of the LRCA's Conservation Areas: Mission Island Marsh, Cascades, Hazelwood Lake, Silver Harbour, Little Trout Bay, MacKenzie Point, Cedar Falls and Hurkett Cove.
The recommended minimum donation amount is $30.00, but donations can be made in any amount you choose. Whether you are donating in memory of a loved one, making a donation in the name of a friend or family member as a gift, or simply generously supporting our initiatives, know that your support is for a worthy cause and is most appreciated. (A special card will be mailed out to the recipient when making a donation in someone else's name).
