LRCA Administrative Office Christmas Closure
Please note: The LRCA Administrative Office will close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 23rd, 2015. It will re-open on Monday, January 4th, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. The Lakehead Region COnservation Authority Board and Staff wish you all a safe holiday season!
LRCA Refresh Visual Identity
Along with the LRCA's new website, a complete refresh of the LRCA's Visual Identity has taken place. The new logo features the iconic whiskey jack of the original logo, taking flight over the landscape in watchful stewardship. The new colours represent land, water and the sun.
The LRCA is a community-based environmental organization that prides itself with the watershed management, education, stewardship and recreational work we offer our 8 Member Municipalities.
Hurkett Cove Parking Lot Improvements
Work to the existing parking lot will be taking place at Hurkett Cove Conservation Area during the 2015 working season. This engineered parking lot project includes boulders strategically placed to outline the designated parking area.
