2020 LIVING CLASSROOM PROGRAMS
We are happy to report that the TD Friends of the Environment Fund has once again generously sponsored our annual Living Classroom Program, however due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to modify our originally planned programs and push back the programming start-date.
We have tentatively set the following as our revised, tentative programming dates, topics and locations:
- Thursday, September 17th - Fish & Aquatics at Hazelwood Lake
- Thursday, September 24th - Birds & Birding at Mission Island Marsh
- Thursday, October 1st - Fall Photography Workshop at Mission Island Marsh
- Thursday, October 8th - Trees & Fall Colours at Cascades
- Thursday, October 15th - Medicine Walk at Hazelwood Lake
- Thursday, November 12th - iNaturalist & Bryophytes at Wishart Forest
We will be monitoring government restrictions on group gatherings as well as physical distancing requirements and further adjust the programs as required. As such, busing may not be provided this year. We will also be taking the health and safety of our staff and program participants very seriously, so please keep in mind that these programs are subject to change and/or cancellation.
Rest assured that the LRCA will be making responsible decisions in this regard and will not go forward with any programming should we feel that it is not safe to do so.
NOTE: Event dates, times and topics are subject to change.
These complimentary programs have once again been made possible through the generous sponsorship of the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.
