Wishart Winter Birds (For Younger Kids)!

Kids 5-8 years old and their adults are flocking to Wishart Conservation Area at 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. to have fun learning the names and sounds of some winter birds, learn how to use binoculars, and then take a short hike together into the woods to put our skills to the test at the bird feeders!
BRING:
- Layered winter clothing (dress for the weather!)
- Binoculars (we have some to borrow if you don’t have your own)
- A mug for hot chocolate after the hike!
- Your eagle eyes and owl ears for finding birds!
NOTE: Please fill out one the registration form FOR EACH CHILD you are bringing.
NOTE: Supervised siblings are welcome, but participation in activities is reserved for children aged 5-8.
NOTE: There are no washrooms or shelters.
ALLERGY ALERT: Tree seeds, peanuts or other nuts are present at the bird feeders, and children will be handling this bird food.
